"After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended."

"Wonderful friendly staff, the only thing i can fault was that due to sharing an entrance to our villa with someone else their door would slam shut every time they would arrive home and i could hear them walk up the stair case to their villa which was pretty annoying other than that it was was a great and relaxing weekend away. Definitely thinking of coming back."

"Beautiful property with amazing views from the deck. Inside was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was seamless. About 15 mins drive from Daylesford, so close enough to get what you need or hit up the restaurants, but far enough away that it still feels ultra quiet and private. Heads up that the dirt road leading to the property has a lot of potholes, so drive carefully."

"It’s a great place for relaxing and enjoying your holiday. The hosts are so lovely, charming and generous and the house is clean and quiet.There is a ping pong table, and some table games at the stables that keep you entertained.The spa is next to the stables and has a great view to the dam."

"Marnie & Dale were lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of wood for the cosy fire. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and everything worked.Repairs to the arm chair, electric heater and mats would be beneficial for safety reasons. The coffee and cake van was a bonus thanks to Gill, Roy and Fleur and Marnie’s yummy homemade cakes. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.A little bit further out from town than stated on the website (extra 6klms) and google maps said it was on the left yet the property is on the right."
