It has been a long time since I have been wowed by service, but the Pine Tree staff hit it out of the park! The little details and extra "touches" just added to the enjoyment! "We had a gorgeous room and wonderful breakfast in this lovely quaint hotel located right in Pitlochry. The staff were great - kind and helpful. Beware though - the only difficulty we encountered on the night of our stay was that the rooms are located above the bar, (we expected perhaps a bit of noise) and a covers band were on - blaring out very loud music until closing time (midnight). This wasn’t very relaxing and a little surprising for the price-point of the hotel. We were offered to return for a discounted stay to make up for this, but since we live very far away and this was a very big trip for us, we can’t really just return very easily! To be honest it would be ok if you are up for joining in with the late party night yourself, I suppose but I’d bear this in mind if it’s the weekend when you stay."
