I loved Tunis, especially the people I got to know. It is a poor country and tourism is struggling. Sometimes I felt like I had a tattoo on my forehead that said, “I’m an American. Please take my money,” But people are just trying to live,
Tunis is an amazing city with lots to do and a very pleasant night life, food is amazing and it is super cheap.
It was not very clean but i did not expect Washington D.C. traffic was crazy. You have to be careful in Medina to not be pick pocked or taken advantage of. I hire a local acquaintance of a friend and had a great experience
Tunis is a very vibrant city. A mix of culture, tradition and modernity. I personally love it and call it a breath of fresh air ❤️ It has improved very much over the years. The only dissapointing thing in Tunis are the taxis, most try to rip you off.
The Carthage museum was closed, which I felt very disappointed.
infrastructure is so bad , hotels mostly dirty with no maintenance. bribes is a must to get in to bars or clubs or cabaret .
