"Excellent service and pool. Pool is shallow and my youngest could wade and access every part of it. Great experience. Minor cleanliness issues: fridge still had leftovers from previous guests; patio in courtyard had pack of cigarettes (not just butts) dumped there and table was dirty, but hotel remedied issues when pointed out"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Phillips during our cross-country road trip. The hotel has a beautiful historic charm while still offering modern comforts. The lobby is elegant, and the overall atmosphere made our stay feel special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day of driving. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout our visit. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to downtown attractions and restaurants. We especially appreciated the unique character of the hotel—it was a refreshing change from the typical chain hotels. Overall, Hotel Phillips was an excellent stop on our journey, and we would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Kansas City. Highly recommended!"

"It was awesome. Grandkids loved the water park and having a room right by the pool. We liked being able to go eat and still watch the kids from where we were eating. Then we ordered for them when they got out of the pool. Our room had a table so they could sit and eat at. Lots of room in our room also. Huge bathroom, nice beds. Would recommend to anyone."
