"The room was dusty and cobwebs were around the inside of the window and we had spiders in there.
The hotel was not very well maintained, could do with painting and upgrading of some of the furniture. The wooden panelling in pool area needs attention as well.
We booked breakfast for 9am and when we arrived the scrambled eggs were dried up, no black pudding, no bacon and no butter available.
Parking was fine.
I had wanted to stay at the hotel for a while and was disappointed with my overall experience and would not visit agan."
"I booked a garden room which I thought should look over the garden but it didn’t it look over a wall one way and a back yard the other right next to the laundry room all you could hear was the washing machines and dryer.
It was a same was a garden room at all.
The pool was very cold."
"My two daughters and I were informed by reception the night before that breakfast would start at a certain time. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were told by the lady behind the bar that because it was a bank holiday, breakfast would open an hour later.
While we understood the change, the staff member was very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. When we said we would report the matter, she replied, “I don’t care.”
I later reported this to reception, where both staff members were very apologetic and understanding."
