"The manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She contacted us in advance to ask about our estimated arrival time, and even though we arrived later than expected, she made sure we knew exactly where she had left the key. Her excellent communication and consideration made our arrival easy and stress-free. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would gladly stay here again!"

"To say Villa dei Fiori is magical or unique would be true, but somehow still misses the mark.The setting is quiet and peaceful, at the edge of Joshua Tree National Park, with the kind of beauty that invites you to slow down and pay attention. We even experienced a desert rainstorm, which brought its own unexpected beauty to our stay.A trail behind the house winds up through the boulders into a landscape that feels wonderfully secluded and as old as time. Walking there, it was easy to imagine that little had changed in thousands of years.Inside, the artwork and library were a delight, giving the place a character and richness all its own. Nothing was forgotten or random in this place. Stargazing from the hot tub was a vacation highlight.Dale, our host, was attentive, thoughtful, and a pleasure to talk with. He’s a wealth of knowledge about the property, the surrounding desert, literature, world events, and seemingly anything else a conversation might turn toward. His sharp mind and wide-ranging curiosity were as memorable as the setting, and getting to know him just a bit added something special to our stay.What stays with me is the feeling of the place—the quiet, the art, the vastness of the landscape, and the whip smart mind of our host. Villa dei Fiori was a lovely place to stay and an experience we’ll carry with us. If you’re bored at Dale’s, then heaven help you."

"Initially was a bit surprised by the unpaved dirt roads getting there, but couldn’t have been happier settling in. The home is very remote and quiet. It’s a bit of a drive into town, but totally worth it! We didn’t want to leave much anyway.The location was easy to find with Google maps (even late at night) and the check-in process was straightforward. The space was neat, clean and organized. Plenty of games to pass the time indoors in the AC and lots of beautiful spaces outdoors to enjoy. The jacuzzi was easy to use and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pans, and the freezer even had ice for us. Coffee was also available (thank you!). Bathroom had fresh towels and soap for us.There was only a little bit of light pollution so the stars were incredibly bright while we were there during a new moon. An absolutely dreamy view while in the jacuzzi. We didn’t use it, but there was a cozy fire-pit in back as well, and a hammock. It rained a decent amount while we were there and the main roads were closed temporarily due to flooding. The unpaved roads were okay to traverse in our Subaru, but be prepared if you have a car lower to the ground. We saw someone get stuck in the muck after the rain. But, the lovely Host was very helpful providing info about how to navigate our way. TLDR; would totally stay here again! The private jacuzzi out under the stars was well worth the trek. "We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, spacious, and perfect for our big family. The kids loved the pool, and the backyard had plenty of seating for BBQs and evening hangouts. There’s even a campfire pit—we were all ready for s’mores, but it rained that Saturday night, so maybe next time. The kids ended up watching a movie instead, and the movie room was a huge hit.If your family loves to cook, the kitchen is very spacious and fully stocked with everything you need—pots, pans, utensils, and more. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and the strong Wi‑Fi was a big plus for everyone.All the bedrooms were large and comfortable, with hotel‑style pillows and mattresses (super comfy!), and the extra air mattresses and folding beds with memory foam made it easy to accommodate everyone.The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The location was super convenient—close to the Joshua Tree North entrance, grocery stores, McDonald’s, and Starbucks for quick stops.Overall, it was the perfect spot for a family getaway. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed the patio views, and the pristine, minimal, and functional interior. The coffee was good according to my partner. I was sad to find no tea and it was difficult to get over my partner and out of bed for late night bathroom runs. I managed to use the exposed bed frame to inch my way along the wall. However, that balancing act was difficult in the dark. In general not for seniors unless they are agile."

"Clean, spacious, beautiful home with all the amenities and supplies you need. All the furniture is very well taken care of, and there was lots of coffee provided. It was very hot to be outside during the day at the time we visited, but at night the outdoor deck was lovely to relax outside and look at the stars. Would stay here again!"
