"Bei der Ankunft stellten wir schnell fest, dass uns ein anderes Hausboot zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, als wir über das Portal gebucht haben. Die Bilder im Netz stimmen nicht mit dem Boot überein. Eine Unterbringung in das gebucht war nicht möglich, da schon vergeben. Wir denken, dass hier eine ständige Überbuchung stattfindet, ob das rechtens ist, bleibt eine Frage. Uns wurde allerdings eine Rückerstattung in Höhe 100€ gezahlt, welches unsere Vorfreude auf das gebucht Boot allerdings nicht...

"We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building."

"Es war ein stürmischer Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel und den einzigen Kampf, den wir zu kämpfen hatten, war der mit der Klimaanlage, die uns den Aufenthalt angenehmer machen sollte - lag aber bestimmt an uns. Die Böllerei anderer „Festland“-Gäste auf dem Steg - dem einzigen Weg vom Hausboot weg - war nicht gut, denn im schlimmsten Fall hätten wir nicht weggekonnt. Ein Hausboot zu mieten, war trotzdem eine gute Idee, gerne wieder!"

"Ontzettend leuk om een keer op een woonboot te slapen. De woonboot is bijzonder luxe ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Enige wat jammer is, is dat de woonkamer iets moeilijker is om te verwarmen in de winter. Verder mooi uitzicht en helemaal top."

"Einfach traumhaft schönes Hausboot… Funktional eingerichtet. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter sehr gemütlich und hell. Die Einflugschneise Shipol hat uns nicht gestört, im Gegenteil… Flugzeuge schauen war sehr interessant. Wer allerdings geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte die Wohnung meiden. Enten schauen und Boote gucken lässt es nicht langweilig werden. Super Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe."
