"When the forecast predicted storms for our Memorial Day weekend camping trip, my husband and I scrambled to shift our plans from tent to hotel. We stumbled upon the Salyards Mansion and could not have been more impressed with our stay. "This cabin was perfect for our stay, close to Gooseberry Falls and not too far from restaurants and Two Harbors. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. "This was a quiet, very nicely decorated and stocked place! It was easy to get into and furnished nicely. The only problem we had was it had stormed and the internet was down. It is like a fourplex with a fire pit and sauna and nice window views. The caretaker took good care of us. We would come back again!"
