Give yourself the vacation you deserve! Right on the Beach! New $100K plus Custom Dock completed in March of 2017. This well-appointed completely renovated home completed in May of 2015, professionally designed 3 bedroom (the bunk bedroom is small - 10.5 x 10.5, best suited for kids or teenagers), 2 bathroom home boasts incredible ocean views from almost every room with private 20' x 30' custom dock house (no floating dock) completed in 2017, plush bedroom suites, gourmet kitchen, four flat screen televisions, Wi-Fi, and the best sunset views on Tybee Island. Only 1 of 3 homes with a private dock on Tybee Island with beach access directly in front of the home. All Tybee beach areas are public including the beach in front of my home. Expect beachgoers and beach crowds to be on the beach directly in front of my home. Enjoy your choice of three outdoor porches, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset. Best location on Tybee for sunbathing, kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding. A true island getaway that’s literally steps away from the sandy beach.

Super View and Location

Chose this place as a a prelude to family Thanksgiving get together. Wanted a beach with water view and this place delivered. Given the time of year, it was delightfully quiet. The cottage is nicely decorated and well equipped. We enjoyed using the kayaks.

Family Vacation

This was my family’s 3rd time visiting tybee and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed! The location is perfect, and you have everything you need right there. The host is super helpful with suggestions on where to go while there too. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Lovely Anniversary Trip

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! Spectacular location, beautiful sunsets over the water, house was well decorated. My husband enjoyed fishing off the homes pier! We easily walked to dining, shopping, and the city pier and beach! We will definitely be back again!

Just Perfect All Around

There wasn’t anything NOT to like here. Our host was very communicative, home was spotlessly clean, location cannot be beat. We loved sitting on the dock (even in the cold) to watch the dolphin play. We loved taking the kayaks out. We loved the speaker system so we could listen to yacht rock no matter where we chose to relax. We loved being able to walk to many restaurants and the beach. Just a great stay!!

Perfect beach weekend

This is one of the best short term rental properties we’ve ever stayed in! Chris was great and the house was very clean and well decorated. It is literally under 10 steps from the porch to the beach. The sunsets off the dock were incredible and we loved morning kayaking as well. Highly highly recommend this place.

Can’t beat the location

Such a great place to spend a week. Excellent sandy beach on Tybee Creek/back river with very little surf for kids to safely play. Chris have us all the info we needed to have a great time, and the house is fully stocked with gear to use outside. Tons of sea birds, dolphins, and even had a sea turtle swim up in the surf one morning.

We didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house so much! The location was perfect for us, with the beach right out your back door and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, as well as a short drive to Savannah. Chris was very accommodating and gave some many wonderful suggestions for both Tybee Island and Savannah. It was the perfect combination of fun and relaxation! We can’t wait to come back!

Exceeded expectations!

We couldn’t pass up this beautiful house for our first trip to Tybee Island, and I’m so glad we chose it! It was a perfect location for us feeling calm, private, but walkable to all kinds of things! We loved having all of the equipment right there like kayaks, sand toys, chairs, and so much more! We also loved the style of the home, which felt like we were on the beach, but not throwing it in our faces. Can’t imagine a better spot on the island!

Wonderful getaway!

Super cute and comfortable house for our family, very clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked. Kids really enjoyed the ping pong table and darts. Chris was very responsive and we felt welcome before we even got there. But even if everything hadn't been just so great, the house is perfect for the sunsets alone. Just gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay!

What a wonderful beachfront home on Tybee Island! House was prettier than in the photos. And the private dock was the perfect place to watch dolphins, kayakers, and birds. Communication with Chris, the host, was quick and very informative. We definitely plan to return. Many thanks!

This is our second visit to this house, it’s quiet, gorgeous sunset views, waterfront, tucked away at the end of the lane, Views of the water are awesome, looks just like the pictures on VRBO site...Well equipped. Absolutely wonderful!

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was top quality- from the beds, linens, towels, decor, you name it. Having the beach towels there and other beach items was great, not having to haul them in a ten hour car ride. Our four kids, ages 9,10,12, & 15 had such a blast running around, exploring, and meeting local cats. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the back porch, reading and watching the children- heaven! We saw many dolphins during our stay which way a special treat. Another favorite activity was walking around to the public part of the beach, flying kites and exploring tide pools. We had unexpected friends ask to pop in and say hi and they needed help with parking- Chris was super helpful finding a good spot for them to park without worry. We would definitely come back!!

AMAZING

We had an absolutely FANTASTIC week at this house. What is not to love about it, honestly. We practically lived on on the dock. It was so fantastic to have a place to sit on the water, listen to the waves, out of the sand....can be in shade or sun....it was absolute perfection. You are definitely close enough to walk to the beaches on the ocean, to souvenir shop, or to some of the local restaurants. The beds were VERY comfortable. No backaches at all! We did not utilize the downstairs under the house very much because we stayed on the dock, but having an extra refrigerator down there and a bathroom was SOO nice! We also loved the Sonos music and used it everyday all over the house/dock! Christopher answered the only couple questions we had very promptly. We really loved their place and enjoyed every single minute at their house. We will be back.

Just right! Amazing Sunsets

We recently celebrated a belated Mother’s Day with my mom and a milestone birthday with my brother at the retreat. The setting is great - so close to the water with beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped for making a nice meal to enjoy at the table on the dock (also a nice spot for board games that won’t blow away - not so much for card games ). Other lounge and rocking chairs on the dock provide comfortable seating for reading in the shade of the dock or soaking up sun on the sun deck. We learned we could achieve a greater degree of privacy on the public beach just off the front porch by setting up our own chairs and towels early after the first day. We loved the ease of the short walk to so many shops and restaurants.
