Hotel Tybee

8/10 Good

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is with walking distance to restaurants. The beach view was excellent from the fourth floor balcony. On the other hand frozen foods could not be stored in the refrigerator because there was no freezer. It was difficult to figure out how to unlock the door of the small 700W microwave which locked after cooking. The TV had intermittent issues which were not resolved until it was replaced on my last full day."

Historic 1940's Beach Cottage, steps to the beach!

"This is a sweet little cottage. We loved the rooms, the beach theme decor and how close it was to the beach, truly just a short walk. The hot tub was super!"

"Great location and staff were very helpful. The room cleanliness was a 6/10 but the towels were a 10/10! Parking was great and walking access to beach was good too - although the hotel access was closed so we had to go to a public access point about a block away - not a big deal! Kids enjoyed breakfast and coffee was good."

"The unit was smaller than it appeared in the pics to me. There was one group that was very loud in the hall when coming and going.Parking was convenient. Bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was perfect. Beach was very close with easy access and hardly anyone out there."

"You can see the outside light coming in through the door. The ac worked great. The mini fridge was loud. The worse part tho was the non existent water pressure of the shower. A bit outdated place but clean and quiet. Very very close to the beach tho. So leave your car and just walk a street over."

"Staff was amazing. Super sweet front desk ladies. Property is what to be expected. It’s a much older property in the beach which few updates. Our door wouldn’t close easy but we figured it out. Please note the outlets are wonky so if you need to plug in a charger for phone or laptop, you’ll need an extension cord. In our case one was available in the room for use. Walking distance to all beach shops and restaurants. Parking very limited"
