    A beautifully restored duplex with a story to tell! Once serving as quarters for soldiers during the Spanish-American War, this historic building now shines as a vibrant beach cottage retreat. Nestled just behind Officer’s Row and beside another Mermaid Cottages treasure—the Enlisted Men’s Mess Hall/Screened Inn duplex—it offers guests a unique connection to Tybee’s past. Lovingly renovated, the home is bright, colorful, and a true showcase of coastal cottage style, blending history with whimsical décor and modern comfort.

    COTTAGE ON THE GREEN B
    Cottage on the Green “B” is one half of a historic cottage duplex. This 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath retreat begins with entry through a spacious screened porch.

    With an open living, dining, and kitchen area there is room for guests to relax and enjoy the spend quality time together.

    Queen Bedroom #1 is sunny and cheerful, with a flat-screen TV for downtime. Its screened sleeping porch adds a touch of whimsy, featuring a swinging full-sized bed, breezy ceiling fan, cozy curtains, and sparkling party lights—an irresistible spot to unwind.

    Twin Bedroom #2 features two twin beds with beautiful bedding and an attached full bathroom that includes a tub and shower combination. This bathroom also provides direct access to the side yard and the outdoor shower, complete with both hot and cold water.

Treat at the Beach!

I loved this property so much — truly, within five minutes of us arriving for a mother/daughter weekend, my mom said she never wanted to leave! The location, the cleanliness, the decor, the porch swing…. it was one of my favorite stays ever, and I can’t wait to come back!

Great off season getaway

Cottage B is as cute as a button - cheerfully decorated, clean, and cozy. The host was very accommodating and responsive. The cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood at the north end of Tybee Island which made it a good home base for visiting the beach and adventures in Savannah.

This was a very cute, clean cottage. We really enjoyed our stay! Other than needing more toilet paper and paper towels and kitchen items it was great! We would definitely stay here again!! Check in was very easy and it’s in a great location!

This is a great cottage in a location close to the beach and to activities. Highly recommend this cottage. It has everything you need, clean, great porches, and wonderfully decorated. We will stay there again.

Wonderful Vintage Cottage

Our stay on Tybee Island was enjoyable, relaxing and fun due to staying in this delightful vintage cottage. It was cheery, comfortable, quiet, well equipped and convenient. The porches were literally a breath of fresh air after being in the cold, wet weather of NJ. The close proximity to the beach and the beautiful park behind the property provided us with many walking experiences. We highly recommend staying here!

Terrific stay

We absolutely loved the cottage. It was very clean and so so cute. We stayed in the unit with the bed swing on the back porch and we really enjoyed that. We would recommend this rental very much and we plan on coming back and staying again.

The house was exactly as described- very charming! Location is excellent, 5 min golf cart ride or less from lighthouse, beach, and most restaurants ( AJs maybe 10 min golf ride). The view of park from living area was beautiful. Great for two people - may be a little hard for more to share the one shower.

Best Place on Tybee

The cottage - a beautiful, hip, and relaxing venue - is the best place we have ever stayed on Tybee. The spacious setting, private rooms, and outdoor spaces enabled gathering and private time in equal measure. The host was amazing - available, flexible, and clear - and we also enjoyed the proximity to the beach and little extras (e.g. charcoal) provided by the host. Cute cottage with great location on Tybee

My husband and I wanted something different for our first visit to Tybee Island and this cottage met all of our needs. The location was perfect for the walking and biking we did and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The cottage is very cute and comfortable with the added bonus of a nice porch for reading and relaxing. The cottage was a terrific stay to explore Tybee Island and also very convenient for trips into Savannah.

Super Cute and Cozy

This is an adorable cottage walking distance to North Beach, and a golf cart ride away from other beaches. We loved the bed swing and enclosed porch. The beach chairs, beach towels and outdoor shower was an added bonus. We would have liked an umbrella for the beach, but you can pick up an inexpensive one to use for your stay nearby.

A bit of peace

We had such a nice stay and left wishing we could have stayed longer! The cottage was exactly as listed and a nice respite. While it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, after talking with some locals we were able to find a section of the beach where the waves weren't so rough for our 3 year old. I would book this location again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Get away

We stayed for 4 nights at Cottage on the Green B. We have visited Tybee a number of times on our way from Richmond to Tampa to visit family. Just love this beautifully decorated home right on the park and close to the beach. It has everything! Sleeping porch, porch for jigsaw puzzle-working, coffee pods, tea, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, Netflix, responsive host, easy walk to restaurants. The hope is immaculate! Hope we can visit again. Just love the decor. It is perfect!

Quaint Cottage

Having stayed at Cottage on the Green B before, I knew it would be the perfect my grandchildren’s first visit to the ocean! Love its walkable proximity to the adjacent park, lighthouse, marine museum and North Beach access. The cottage is just like it’s pictured in the write up! Comfortable furnishings with unique decor. Appreciate that the owner thinks to supply the basics as well as beach towels and chairs. Next time coming to Tybee I’d choose this cottage again!

Everything was really good with the house. Except for the a/c, it would get very warm in house.

It was very clean, nice, cute. Very short bike ride to beach. The outdoor shower was really nice. I would definitely recommend it.
