"We had a great stay here. Quaint ski cabin with ample fun tucked away bunks for kids. This would be such a fun place to stay for two adult couples and 4plus kids ranging ages 5-12. With older teens the bunks are a bit small but the couch is the perfect place to unwind after a big ski day!"

The real star of this place is the hot tub on the deck, which is right next to the Zig Zag river. It’s a large really nice hot tub, and the pleasant sound and view of the river really add to the ambience."

Two converging creeks on the lot make this location unique. "A very charming cabin with a neat family history. The house been decorated and renovated tastefully. It was perfect for a short getaway from Portland. My favorite things about the house... The upstairs bedroom and its view of the big cathedral window and the red lift chair. A rustic and small but a well equipped kitchen. "The other reviews I saw gave this place a one star, this place was actually really nice and I don't really know why they thought it deserved such a low review. I only had to drop my review of it from 5 star because when I purchased my reservation it had 'Hot Tub' listed in the listing, which I am to gather from my conversation with the owner was a mistake. In any case, TL;DR, this place is very nice but does not have a hot tub but was listed with one when I made my reservation."

"We wanted a place that had that cabin in the woods feel. This definitely hit the mark. We didn’t do any cooking as we were on the go quite a bit, but found that the cabin was outfitted well. A couple people mentioned that getting to the cabin felt like they were off-roading, but if you follow the directions given during checkin in, then getting there is a breeze. Google maps takes you another route which is a little trickier. Very cool river with a pedestrian bridge about 50yds from the front...
