"My satisfaction with Still Athens begun way before I arrived. The staff was engaging right from the time I booked my trip. They shared details about the area, checked on my arrival time to ensure room access (more on that later), and consistently inquired if I needed anything before or during my stay which they could assist me with. This is a boutique hotel so beware of that. Meaning there's no actual lobby and after 10/11pm, access is via door code. That said, if you're visiting Athens on a solo or adult couple trip, this is one of the most centrally located hotels you can find everything from the Parthenon to the 1st modern Olympics stadium (Hippodrome) is within walking distance. My room was spacious (rooms differ by price), with great space and contemporary amenities. The elevator is tiny so if you have a lot of luggage, you may need to make multiple trips. The staff is amazing (Maria, Nikkos and Giannis). They were always helpful, pleasant, and gave me a ton of confidence navigating the city by sharing easy to follow tips. As I mentioned, this isn't a traditional hotel in terms of lobby, gym, etc. so it may not be the best option for families. Especially those with little children but for solo travels make for adults, I highly recommend Still Athens. Cheers, DG "

"The room was clean, however the first weekend we stayed before going to Santorini we didn’t have air conditioning which sucked. But when we came back the air conditioning was working and the second stay was much more enjoyable. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of different things to choose from. "

"We had stayed at the Athens Gate Hotel in the past and enjoyed it very much. The rooftop patio and restaurant offered a great selection of delicious cocktails and meals along with a great buffet breakfast. The views from the restaurant are spectacular! The Acropolis and Parthenon are visible from one side and the Temple of Zeus from another. Within walking distance to a pedestrian walkway offering souvenirs, drinks, gelato and more. Restaurants are aplenty along the way as well as the Acropolis Museum further up. Hop On Hop Off buses are also close by. Staff are simply amazing! Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Check in went smoothly despite people checking in and out, cruise ship passengers coming and going. A comfortable seating area was available while we waited for our room to be ready which was made accessible to us prior to the 3pm check in time. Room was clean with comfortable beds, a large clean washroom and a view of the Temple of Zeus. A welcoming bottle of a nice white wine awaited us, courtesy of the hotel manager. As they say it is “your home in Athens.”"

"Best location to explore the historical sites , flea markets and restaurants. A stones throw away from Monasteraki Square. We booked a room with balcony but Staff upgraded us to a room with loft but without balcony. Room was nice but kinda weird layout because main floor was small with a toilet and bath and the loft has the king size bed with another toilet and bath. Feels smaller than the photographs. But all in all, I would recommend it."

"This was a great place to stay and the staff were tuly exceptional with helping up book dinner reservations at local roof top restaurants and their recommondations were amazing for things to see, how to get there and also places to eat. The breakfast was fantastic and soooo delicious. t was also a great place to stay because of how close it was to all of the major attractions all within walking distance. Thanks so much for helping make the end of our trip just as special as the beginning."
