Outstanding hotel

We had an excellent stay and would stay there again. Service was wonderful. Room gorgeous, food excellent and setting bucolic. Excellent location midway between Monkey Forest and town center.

Loved the oasis of quiet right next to the heart of Ubud. It also had the biggest private bathroom I have ever used, and also a nice big bedroom. The breakfast was tasty, delivered quickly, and again in a small, quiet location.

A peaceful haven in the heart of ubud. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. The room was very clean, with a large balcony and spacious bathroom. Lovely spa with an excellent massage. What an incredible place to stay, right in the heart of Ubud but you feel like you’re out in the country. The room was perfect and comfortable, the food at the restaurant was amazing, we had wonderful massages in a serene setting by the rice field, the pool was beautiful with monkeys in the trees, and the staff could not have been more friendly. I hope I’m fortunate enough to return one day.

What a beautiful property. We loved everything about our stay. The staff, the room, the view over the rice terrace. The restaurant served amazing food, we didn't want to leave. Beautiful room, amazing team

The suite was fantastic. We really loved the private pool, rain shower, and bathtub. It has mosquito netting all around the bed. The service was top-notch with Ade and Ari looking after us. Ade actually helped us replan our itinerary and connected us to a great private driver called Tutna. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Amazing honeymoon hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was INCREDIBLE! This was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in, not just because of the beautiful villa in the jungle with its own room, but because of the amazing people who work here (especially Ade at the front desk). Every time we walked in, they knew us by name, and were so kind to us! They even remembered I was a vegetarian every morning at breakfast. The room was beautiful, we loved the included breakfast, and the afternoon tea time, and we were so sad to leave! Would recommend this to everyone, and would definitely stay here if we ever came back!

From the moment Ari met us at the airport with cold towels, icy cold water and cookies, we knew we were headed somewhere special and we weren’t disappointed. This amazing gem of a resort is so conveniently located in central Ubud but walk down the driveway to be greeted by name and you step into an oasis of calm. Exceptional service, lovely suites and absolutely gorgeous gardens. This is not some large, flashy new resort and thank goodness for that. This is the real Bali and we felt privileged to call Komaneka home for our 2 week stay. Thank you to all at Komaneka at Monkey Forest, we will be back!

A few day stay on a long trip.

I dont think i could write enough. The staff were all extremely welcoming and always asking if everything was ok. Everyone knew our names and it was great to have that home feeling especially travelling with a less than 2yr old on such a long trip. The hotel is very well kept and you will even catch the groundskeeper sweeping up leaves each morning to keep a fresh look. You might catch the monkeys in the afternoon from the pool just make sure you have all of your things securely put away, the staff will make sure you are aware of this as monkeys dont listen. I give this hotel a top rank in my books as the staff aim to please, are very helpful, and will do everything they can to make sure you have what you need and enjoy your stay. We would definitely come here again.

My friends and I spent 6 nights at this property and loved every minute of it! The hotel is in the center of Ubud, a great location to visit other sites in and near Ubud, on foot or by car. Numerous taxis were available. The grounds are beautifully maintained. My room was spacious, clean, and lovely. I appreciated the free bottles of water provided. The staff was exceptional. They greeted me and my friends by name every time they saw us. They made us feel so welcome. I went to the spa for a wonderful massage. I went to the pool every day and marveled at how beautiful the surroundings were. The food in the restaurant on the property and the food served at the pool was delicious! I also enjoyed the soothing background music at dinner. And all of this at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend this property!!

We stayed in this amazing hotel for 4 nights in Ubud and I believe we were very lucky to discover this gem in the middle of Ubud city center. Is a hotel that gives you the sense of high quality luxury in smaller scale showing attention and care to the clients. We were pleasantly surprised when they called us by our first names; this confirmed that this hotel gives a special attention to details.The room was very big and clean, the pool was very relaxing and magical, especially after the sunset. Moreover, a calm music was always playing on background in the common areas. The hotel is very quiet, even if it's in the middle of the city center making it a perfect choice to enjoy the silence inside but also to reach at walking distance many restaurants and the night life of Ubud. We really appreciated this combination especially after long and tiring days of sightseeing; We could just go out on foot and enjoy the night avoiding taking another taxi. The only improvement we suggest is to add more European bakery and cakes to the breakfast for people that are not used to eat salty meals early in the morning, but was nice the opportunity to have breakfast room service free of charge. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Komaneka experience!
