"Das Hotel ist kein 5 Sterne Resort das Reisfeld ist nicht gepflegt und man schaut auf eine Baustelle der Baulärm beim Frühstück war sehr intensiv am Pool wollte man da nicht liegen. Das Personal war sehr sehr hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Die Affen kommen jeden Morgen und nachmittag und nahmen sich alles was sie konnten"

"The room was very spacious. The resort is in a quiet street but still in a very good location, walking distance to restaurants , the market and Ubud palace. Their restaurant. Herb Library is very good. It's a wonderful resort. The staff is siper friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it."

"I booked one of the villas on the top floor. Absolutely magical -check out the sunset from the rooftop bar. The Balinese people are kind and welcoming; the staff at this hotel are no exception. The hotel itself is relaxed, but high quality. An added bonus, every floor has local art and artifacts - I highly recommend walking each floor to take them in. Easily one of my favorite hotels (I’ve stayed in hundreds)!"

"We loved our stay here. Unfortunately I ended up getting Bali belly. But the staff was extremely helpful bringing recovery food like bananas and teas. The breakfast options here are also delicious. They are also so helpful in planning a day for you if you want to do nearby tours. We enjoyed this location because it was near everything as well in walking distance. We highly recommend staying here. They make you feel like family."

"Fantastic location next to the water palace. Breakfast: A nice 3 course daily breakfast was served in the Lotus Cafe, which has views of the water palace. Different style set menu options available including Indonesian, English, American, and vegan. Water Palace: Guests at the hotel receive complementary access to the water palace and can see the evening show (7:30pm) from the restaurant. However, you will get a better view if you attend the show. Massage: We received complementary 30min massage and extended to 1hr which was totally worth it. Activities: The hotel also has a range of complementary daily activities for guests, from morning yoga to afternoon calligraphy and mini Balinese language class. We also did the incense making which was complementary for longer stays, the experience was lovely. The instructor and assistant, were both very friendly and patient. Truly tranquil experience. Room: Our room was one of the royal rooms, which had a separate shower to the big bathtub. Shower was enclosed, covered outdoors which was a novelty. The bathroom wasn't fully soundproof from next doors' bathroom but that didn't bother us. Door was a little creaky, however it adds character. Room had good air conditioning and space. Filtered bottled water for making tea/coffee and brushing teeth were provided daily. Staff: Very friendly, smiley and helpful. Lovely service Highly recommend staying here"
