"Samhita is my go-to place to stay in Ubud, 10 stays with small and large groups since 2011. Ideal location just a 3 minute walk up from the main Street Jl. Raya; excellent shopping, spas and restaurants steps away on the quieter street of Jl. Bisma. But the real magic is when you step inside. The grounds are lush and meticulously maintained, beautiful pool, sweet spaces to lounge, plentiful breakfast included. We were a group staying in deluxe rooms, the one bdrm villa with private pool, and the two bdrm villa w private courtyard and lounge and kitchen. Everyone raved about their accommodations. The staff made us feel like family, responding with a smile to meet every need. Honestly, it is a gem, a serene hideaway amidst the sometimes overwhelming kinetic energy of the busy traffic of Ubud."

"Location is much closer to the Monkey Forest than shown on Wotif's map, which didn't help on arrival. Breakfast is limited to one option from the list only and coffee is extra. Property is a little disjointed with many steps between each area, with the pool area separate to the rooms. Villa style rooms are pleasantly appointed and look traditional but are well fitted out, and the main area quite modern and well designed. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We loved our stay here. Unfortunately I ended up getting Bali belly. But the staff was extremely helpful bringing recovery food like bananas and teas. The breakfast options here are also delicious. They are also so helpful in planning a day for you if you want to do nearby tours. We enjoyed this location because it was near everything as well in walking distance. We highly recommend staying here. They make you feel like family."
