"We loved our stay at the blacksmiths Arms they were so friendly. Everything was perfect for us. One of the best hotels without atmosphere that we have stayed in."

Only slight negatives were the shower and wash basin were tiny (- it would be really helpful to have shelves in the en-suite) and the shower drain is beginning to show its age. All a bit dated. Bed was very comfortable. But Alfa’s was good too. Really like the coffee! Thank you, Emma."

"Countryside enfolded the TJS and as soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcomed. Our room was clean and fresh. Everything you needed had been thought of, big walk-in shower. fluffy robes, small fridge with water and milk for your tea. We only had breakfast but was freshly cooked and lasted us all day. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. TJS gets our thumbs up. "

"What can we say.. such a beautiful and magical place.so clean and tidy. Our room was big. King bed single bed double sofa bed and a fold away single. Table and chairs. Fridge, microwave tea coffee and more. You have everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay. Secluded with a beautiful garden to explore. Children will be happy with a big trampoline swing ball table tennis and football. Breakfast was perfect and very yummy 😋 easy to find and a really good location for Gatwick Airport. If...

Beautiful grounds and the interior is beautifully designed as well. Loved the Roger Dean exhibition upstairs and the free guided tour! "We stayed for 3 days after our 14-night cruise and were able to wash and dry all our clothes. The washing machine was very handy. The provided clothes hanger had seen better days but we made it work. The location was fabulous and close to heaps of restaurants and pubs. We caught the local bus to Lewes for fun and had a great day. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. We would recommend to stay here. "
