"Everything about our stay at the Black Rock was lovely. We had a rainforest view room which was very tranquil. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We dined at both the Big Beach Lounge and Currents Restaurant. Each meal was very tasty and we had good service. We didn't end up using the hot tub but we did use the gym several times and found it had everything we needed for a quick workout. Overall we enjoyed everything about our stay at the Black Rock and will definitely be back. "

"The cabin was spotless, warm and cozy. I used to be a housekeeper and now have a habit of inspecting rooms I stay at, and I was impressed with the room's condition, except for the thick layer of dust under the bed.A few things could be improved, such as the hot water tank and water pressure. It took quite some time for the jacuzzi to fill. And the lock on the bathroom door wasn't working.A suggestion for the shower is to install hooks in the beam above the shower so wet items like bathing suits can hang dry. The view is beautiful, even during the rainstorm we had on our first full day but that night we walked down to the water just below the cabin and collected a few shells.The host was friendly in passing but otherwise left us to our privacy, and they even supplied a full ice tray, juice, biscuits, and some coffee.It truly was a fantastic stay!"
