"During my two-week trip to Japan, one of the most memorable experiences was our stay at Hotel Indigo Karuizawa, An IHG Hotel. The experience was excellent, with warm and welcoming staff. The rooms were spotless and more spacious than others we stayed in. While the location wasn’t as central, with having attractions within walking distance, it was conveniently close to the mall and train station via taxi. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the on-site restaurant, the onsen was a standout feature and a key reason we chose this hotel, despite it being the most expensive of our trip. Out of the six hotels we stayed in, this was definitely one of our favorites, and I highly recommend it."

"The hotel was an easy 100-15 minute walk from the train station and was conveniently located. The room was comfy and I enjoyed the public bath - though it lacked the mineral waters of an onsen it was still relaxing after long days of walking. They stored our luggage after checkout and the staff was very friendly. "
