The overall condition of the rooms and hallways is very used. Looks like it was glorious a long time ago but now very dated. The rooms were mostly clean, but there was a ginger pubic hair on the toilet seat when I first entered the room. I am not ginger. Staff was okay, but the front desk lady complained a lot about their software when I checked it. Not what I expect from five stars. Rooms had the same amenities as a three star hotel in Asia. The hotel seems to want to be world class, but is more like three stars.

I'm an autistic adult with a love and special interest in books and the nature of writing. A few years ago my partner booked INK for us during a bad time in my life and when we decided to go back to Amsterdam now I'm doing better I was determined to come back to INK because the atmosphere of the hotel was familiar and also fits my personality.
We walked everywhere we wanted to visit with little issues and our room was incredibly comfortable and well appointed.
The staff were delightful and breakfast was brilliant, lots of options.

"The estate grounds and building facilities were beautiful, landscaping and gardens, gym and pool, the bar and bartender were great. Our room was quiet, clean and with two ergonomic adjustments the room would be 5 star. Another way to move rating to 5 star is improve coffee experience in the morning. ..."
