Delightful village retreat in the heart of Multyfarnham - 1 hour from Dublin
10/10 Excellent
"Pat and Unawere both so nice and welcoming, and Poppy was just a joy! Also Una's cheese cake was to die for! Thanks for taking us to the bog. Your location near the middle of Ireland was perfect for our trip. Molly wants to live here now. I left my hammock hanging in the trees, You might want to take it down in the winter, but it's a perfect place. I also left the sleeping bag in case other guests want to camp in the hedge. Anyway thanks for that great stay, we love Ireland!"
"This property is a perfect stop in Athlone. It is easy to walk into the city centre and the parking was very convenient. There is also a lovely breakfast available at the hotel."
"This was a gathering from the us and we met at Connie wonderful home. From the original house to the horses in the yard we couldn't have been happier. Connie met us at the house and explained all the workings. She anticipated what we would need and had it all there. A welcome basket, activities for the kids and all the hot water and towels we could use. There was ample space for us to gather and to be seperated. Thank you Connie for making our stay so enjoyable."
3 bedroom, sleeps 6, beautiful Village in the centre of Ireland
10/10 Excellent
"It was a home away from home and it’s all down to the hosts who went above and beyond during our stay. I’m from Ireland and live in Australia and it was magical to discover this gem in Westmeath. Lots of lovely village activity but nice and peaceful inside. We all slept really well in the comfortable bedrooms and there was so much space in the entire house. Just a 15 minute drive from Mullingar town, a 12th Century Friary 2 minutes away and you can grab a coffee up at the Friary Blooms gardens 5 minutes drive. A beautiful garden out the back for all the kids to explore and a brilliant playground for the kids 5 minutes walk up the road. Absolutely salt of the earth hosts and we’ll definitely be back to una and pat and of course Poppy the spaniel. "
