Hotel Reykjavik Saga

"The staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The hotel communicated with us nicely before the stay. The restaurant food was excellent. The room was nice but a bit on the small side, completely usable though. The hotel is walking distance to a lot downtown Reykjavik landmarks, shopping, and museums. We would be very happy to stay there again"

"This hotel was the BEST one from our 16 days trip here in Iceland. we got ocean view room and the view didn’t disappoint. However other room had view angle where they can see our room so we had to close the curtain at evening time which kind of defeats the purpose. We loved the spacious well decorated room. It has very openness feels and well lit. The mini recesses lights were nice touch. The bathroom was also spacious and unlike other hotel the shower partition panel was long enough preventing water splashing all over bathroom floor. We had to pay for the breakfast buffet which was just average. I thought the food wasn’t worth the money I paid. The hotel is very conveniently located. Supermarket and restaurants including Subway are all within walking distance. I would love to come back to this hotel again when I visit next time."

"Overall the hotel is very nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the Beer Garden after check in for a yummy burger and nice cocktail. As far as the room the size was adequate and the bed comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and was plenty hot. On the downside the shower was way too small and there was a tub but I can’t imagine many people use it. The space would be better utilized with a larger shower. Also, only one window opened in the room and there was only a down comforter so I was very hot all night. Keeping in mind we stayed in early September I feel like it could get even warmer in the Summer months."

"I loved my little pod. It was super cozy and cute. I enjoyed the hot tubs and the walking trails around the property. The kitchen was well organized but could get busy during meals. There were plenty of bathrooms but they were all pretty basic. The private shower was busy and not easily available. The location is a good base for local sites but it was quite a drive out to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula."

"The hotel doesn't have parking and our check-in person didn't provide great options. Fortunately, we figured them out on our own and saved a lot of $ but it would have been better if the hotel has offered this. Also, our room was boiling hot upon entry. But we enjoyed it once it cooled off. Great location and our balcony was great!"
