Lovely comfy stay in a well looked after old pub :) Ed was super comfy. Meal in the attached cafe was excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing.

It was a very convenient little stay. Food was amazing, however, because it was Friday night there were no seats available to eat in the bistro. Downside was, being a Friday night, there were a lot of people around and it was not quiet for the wearing traveller.

We loved everything about this hotel, the architecture and character, the food in the restaurant was delicious, the views along the river. The downside was our tiny room was in the middle of hotel and there was no airflow, if we opened a window it would only have opened on to the hallway as people walked past (and they were a bit noisy). The room was stuffy and couldn’t sleep. Everything else was perfect.

Great old hotel, easy check in at the bar. Spacious room with verandah was clean, quiet and comfortable with simple but very adequate breakfast provided. Excellent meal in the restaurant downstairs. A chair or 2 in the room would be a plus.
