"The stay is amazing "

"We really enjoyed our two-night stay at this guest house and would recommend it. Very good location near to Windermere, avoiding the crowds. It was so handy having parking, as lots of accommodation in the area can’t provide it. We had the continental breakfast option, great value and quality - gorgeous coffee! The bedding and sheets were high quality and we slept so well. Always plenty of hot water and I loved the scent of the toiletries. The gardens were pretty and we met Frank, the host, who was very nice. "

"Had a lovely stay at Swan Hotel, lovely view but windows could do with a wash. Pleasant and friendly staff. Disappointed in pool area of hotel, sauna out of order and steam room not working properly. One of the reasons why we decided to stay at this hotel was the leisure facilities. The spa at the end of hotel was a 2 hour experience and it seemed you had to book this, I'd rather come and go as I pleased. It was a special couple of days away for my 70th Birthday so a wee bit gutted it did not come up to expectations."

"We had a lovely long weekend here, the cottage was very rural with breathtaking views. The cottage was beautiful with everything you needed with welcome pastries and fizz! The only downside, we had a family upstairs with children running around early morning and late at night which was a little disruptive but overall a fabulous place and would definitely recommend."

"Great host, great breakfast, great location and a great price. We had a ground floor, king size room with our own entrance door to the garden which led to the car park. Very handy."
