"Comfortable room; easy to get to by foot from placa de Catalunya (where aerobus goes from airport). Helpful staff. Good shopping and eating options nearby. Only negatives are the extensive construction on the street outside and the odd door code system. If you can set your phone to open the door via app then it works. Entering the code manually only works half the time."

"The hotel felt luxurious staff was very friendly rooms was spacious and clean! Breakfast buffet was good. The only thing is that the ac in my room didnt seem to work and at night i could smell cigarettes from my air vent."

"Love it all: room is classically serene and clean. Nice toiletries, towels, shower temp and pressure is perfect. Bathroom is spacious with big shower, huge mirror and magnify-mirror, and bathrobe & slippers. Love the layered lighting and city view window with blackout drapes. All is well-thought-out. And the rooftop patio is chill, beautiful views with delicious drinks and small bites. Front desk staff: knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and friendly. Lobby design is comfortable, quaint yet elegant, and welcoming. Love the whole hotel from top to bottom!"

"Great location between the Gothic Quarter and the beach, and as two female travellers we felt very safe throughout our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the city. The room was smaller and basic but suitable for a short stay. Housekeeping was done daily and kept everything clean and tidy. Unfortunately, we had an issue on arrival with the shower not working. We reported it at check-in and were told someone would look at it, but after waiting around an hour with no one arriving, we followed up at reception. The issue was not resolved that evening, leaving us without a shower for the first afternoon and evening. The shower was fixed the following day. I asked if breakfast could be compensated due to the inconvenience and lack of an alternative room. Reception informed me the manager had denied the request, which surprised me as I felt it was reasonable. The manager later called our room, but I felt the conversation was argumentative, so I ended the call. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful, especially the pool team. The food was good and the pool area was enjoyable. Expedia were also very helpful in supporting me while resolving the situation. Overall, the hotel has an excellent location, felt safe, and had many positives. Better communication and understanding when handling concerns would have improved the experience."
