"I would highly recommend Pillows Boutique Hotel if you don't need to be in the heart of Chiang Mai, and want a luxury hotel for a budget price. The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. "We had a very comfortable stay here. It was close enough to walk into the downtown but far enough that it was quiet. The pool area was really nice and the breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and different dishes offered every day. The staff was really really friendly at this hotel and I would highly recommend it. "

"Checked in Melia Chiang Mai, when we opened the door and entered the room, we could only describe it as "Wow"! The space is spacious and comfortable, and the interior is clean and tidy! The surrounding environment is also quite quiet, and there is a night market nearby, which is very convenient! We dined in the restaurant twice, once at noon and once during happy hour, and the service was very friendly! I believe we will come back to stay again!"

"Modern, comfortable hotel. Well maintained. My standout comments is about Breakfast. I travel a lot and this is about the first one I h ave come across in Asia that had recognised the differences between crispy/overcooked American style bacon and softer British style bacon. Thank you. I'll give you 10/10! And I could also get a decent pot of tea. If the little things matter in life, then this American chain has finally recognised that not everyone likes its hospitality 'American-style!' Well done. "

"This property is a tucked away hidden gem. The rooms are lovely and spacious and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nyein was a particular gem and was so helpful and kind. When we had an issue with our room, Nyein helped us changed the room with ease and it was effortless. The location is great with loads of amenities nearby. We’ll definitely be visiting the Mango Tree Resort again! "

Great hotel, need a bit more maintenance!

"The hotel and the villa where I stayed were incredible, 5 stars! The food was excellent! What could be improved is the maintenance; from the private pool of the villa, the first thing I saw was a wall with worn-out paint. Another thing I didn't like was that a container for bath salts broke. Despite explaining that it broke due to a poor design of the installation, they charged me for the container. It wasn't much, but I didn't like it."
