Fuji views, the large, Japanese-style family room we had on our second of two nights, friendly staff and convenient shuttle to Kawaguchiko bus station. The public bath was a fun experience for us, particularly with the Fuji view while soaking. The hotel entrance makes it feel like it's a luxury hotel, but the room we had on the first night, in particular, was shabby with missing handles, chipped and worn furniture, toilet seat partially detached, and just all-round tired fixtures and fittings. Food was superb. "
