"Special thanks to the owners of Wine Down house! Our family had a great stay and loved Lake Michigan. The house is open and well laid out with two adult bedrooms (queens) and two kid bedrooms (bunk beds). It appears the house was built in the 1980’s or 90s and has been freshly painted and two of the bathrooms have been updated. The outside has a great screened in porch and yard. Only 50 steps to the breach bluff stairs. Thank you!"

"Our group was 4 adults, three teens, and an infant. The property looked great online-and exceeded expectations in person. Everything was sparkling upon arrival, along with a nice "welcome" basket. The kitchen was probably the best equipped one we have ever encountered in a rental (appliances, gadgets, storage space, etc.). The laundry area and bathrooms were fully equipped with nice products. The array of beach chairs, coolers. towels, and wagons to haul them to the beach were all in great condition. The screened porch, unscreened porch, fire pit, and hot tub all got plenty of use. The beach access is a short stroll away and unlike may accesses to the lake has no stairs. This beach seemed less crowded than other public beaches we've used in the past. The floor plan of the house is open and comfortable and conducive to family gatherings and dining. Tim served as our host-and he was amazing! All communications were answered promptly and he worked to make sure any needs we had were met-immediately. Examples: The property description said there were baby gates that could be used at the top and bottom of the stairs. When we said we could not locate them, two new gates arrived in less than an hour! A new grill had been added but apparently the propane bottle had not been replaced. When notified, Tim arrived quickly with two new tanks. When I texted Tim I couldn't find a grill brush, brushes and other items arrived the next day. Home and host: both A! Thanks."

Proximity to gorgeous beach (just steps away!) and short drive to Indiana Dunes Natl Park. Communication with hosts was terrific. Loved the outdoor shower, beach equipment, and screened porch. "
