"Pet friendly hotel that had big rooms. Breakfast was great. I stayed for 6 nights and felt it was a good place to stay until I interacted with their staff. They are not rude but use the excuse that they are ‘new’ so that their staff may make mistakes. After cleaning the room, I noticed the 2nd room key was missing. I had left it in the wall on purpose. When I asked them to bring it back, the employee used the key to open the door without knocking first! Not thinking twice if there were anyone...

"There is some construction adjacent to the property. There was a gym next door and a night market across the street. Walking distance to Taichung Park and a small cute red bridge. A very old (75 year) Christian church (Grace Memorial) was also nearby. "

The location is great, we took a bus from the HSR station directly to the hotel. There is a night market, traditional market, as well as lots of shops nearby. Because it's on a busy street, not exactly the most quiet place, but also not as noisy as expected. Staff was very helpful and attentive, friendly and professional. AC was not...
