"The staff was very friendly. The room was good for what it was, and the price was fair. It was definitely outdated. Some bugs in the room, but that’s expected when it’s so close to the woods. Bed was comfy. Was very dry in the room, but overall it was a decent stay. I would most likely stay here again. "

"This cabin was so cute, clean and well-maintained. Tom has excellent communication skills and was a great host. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape and relax by the lake. There is great fishing, boating and beachfront. "

"This was more than just another place to stay, it was a great experience. We stayed in the cottage and it was better than described. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all. "

"The location was perfect…close to town, kayaking, and hikes. The home was very comfortable and very well appointed….it had everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out. The yard was great…our pup had so much space to play ball. The fire pit was an added bonus…making s’mores was a great way to end our week."

"Words cannot properly describe this property. As you can see it is situated right on the lake. The inside of the property is even nicer than what the pictures depict. Everything you will need is there.We rented a boat for the week from Captain Bob's and kept it at the dock. If you're considering getting boat, go to Captain Bob's. He is right there about 5 houses down and he will treat you good. And if it's your first time, do not worry about getting lost. This property is in a perfect spot. All you need to do is keep Dome Island and The Sagamore in view. You can never get lost. Also, Log Bay is right across the lake where you can anchor the boat and swim/stand whatever you want to do in waste deep water.One day we took off on the boat and accidently popped the yellow duck float that was on the dock. When we got back, we saw what looked like a duck funeral, lol. From the attached pictures you can see 7 ducks sitting on the dock around the duck float while one decided to lounge on our float. That one must be the leader."

"Our group of 9 women had such a great time during our stay at the property. Lots of things to do at the house or of you want to relax, many areas to tuck away and nap. Short drive into town and short drive to the lake. Great place to stay."
"A large group of friends and I had a great long weekend stay. The hosts are very communicative, even holding a zoom call a month in advance to go over the property and provide a chance to ask questions. The homes were perfect to adventure out onto the Lake and the surrounding areas from and were really a ton of fun to hang out at themselves. I would highly recommend other large groups consider staying at this listing for their Lake George-based vacations."
