"We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!"

"It is a beautiful building in a lovely location. I’m not sure if the severe heat made a few things more difficult during our stay. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening, and although our food took quite a long time to arrive, what we did have was lovely and we really enjoyed it. A couple who were seated next to us after we had arrived received both their starter and main course before we got our food.
