"Staff seemed unable to cope due to busy period, and were not as friendly as I'm used to in the south of Germany. There was a wedding on too so maybe due to that. Stlfling hot in room, and room Aircon control was not working. Great place though, would go back."

"A beautiful hotel set on an estate, which has a family history of being run as far back as grandparents of current owner. There is a genuine wish on the part of the owner to ensure any problems you have, are resolved. He did that for us on this visit. The hotel has so much character and is very comfortable "

"Impressive hotel. Great location. Excellent car park. Superb breakfast. Took a room in the villa which was very comfortable. Only odd thing was, the external door doesn't appear secure. We were woken by a woman shouting at our door at 05.30. Hotel were totally unbothered by this & told us to call the police! Don't book the villa if you are woman travelling alone."

"This hotel excels in every aspect. Our room was even ready early. The staff at check in were super helpful. The room was right over the square, and when the windows were closed, we heard nothing. Bed comfortable, breakfast above average and beautifully presented. There is easy parking to check in. We parked in a public ramp with a small walk just for ease of parking. Location great right on the promenade and easy to board the ferry too. Highly recommend. We loved Meersburg and wish we had booked...
