Top Upshur County Hotel Reviews

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tyler - University Area

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was freezing and we did not realize there was a wall thermostat rather than on the unit. Once we got that figured out we were fine. Breakfast was very good. Not only the usual pastry selection but there was both scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, 2 types of sausage and French toast, An excellent selection for a diabetic. Getting to the hotel was a bit confusing as you must go through another hotel's parking lot to reach the LaQuinta. Took it us about two passes to figure that out"

Comfort Suites Kilgore

10/10 Excellent

"What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating. They repeatedly asked if we needed anything. The breakfast buffet was very nice and well-stocked and very clean. The room looked recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. It was quiet overnight. No negatives from us at all."
