The elevator was out of service and although they had someone bring bags to your room it was a bit of a wait - would be reasonable to offer a drink or something to guests for inconvenience. We got food at the food trucks- great- and ate on a bench on the pier. Lovely."

"Have never seen a hotel levy a charge to hotel guests for using their pool…seriously?? Half expected that we’d have to also put a quarter in their undersized television to be able to use it."

"We enjoyed the beautiful historic hotel, with amazing views of the water! The rooms were comfortable, although we were there when it was very warm, and would have liked to have some fans. The staff did a nice job accommodating our request for rooms next door to each other. Amazing breakfast, nice swimming pool, wonderful location… We would definitely stay there again!"

"Please note if booking through a 3rd party, like Expedia, the pool is not included. This was not clear in the description as it states swimming pool available. Was the main reason we booked. Still outstanding complaint with Expedia which has gone unresolved for several days since making the claim. Hotel understands but did not compromise as it was Expedia’s issue. Ball still in your court Expedia customer services."
