"Great place to stay in Tashkent. The rooms are large, nicely appointed, and comfortable with good temperature controls. The staff is super nice. The breakfasts are tasty and plentiful. Walking distance to Chorsu Bozar and the Islamic Civilization Center—both must-sees while in Tashkent."

"We spent one night here after travelling from Bukhara during the day & catching a flight home the following day. For a one night stay the Europe was perfect. Comfy beds in a clean modern bedroom; quiet surroundings; tasty breakfast; helpful & friendly staff. We didn't use the spa facilities or the pool due to lack of time but I'm sure they must be good. Also, at only a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport it was handily placed."

"We decided to stay at this iconic hotel partly for a bit of fun as well as it's great location in Tashkent. If visiting the capital no doubt you will at least visit the property for it's history and location, adjacent to the hotel is the square,metro, restaurants and other attractions to explore. The hotel itself can be described as an older property and does need a facelift to bring it back to it's former glory, however if you fancy staying in what can be described as a piece of Soviet history then this is for you!....The staff are friendly and helpful,the rooms are spotless,however some are refurbished and some are not!....ours wasn't refurbished but we did have a balcony giving us view of the mountains in the distance,the room itself was simple and basic but good value,and kept clean.Breakfast was plentiful and the bar on the 16th floor is well worth a visit for a cold beer and admire the views,in addition the lunch menu was good and good value for money. Yes there are better hotels in Tashkent,but Hotel Uzbekistan can offer something a little different where you can say that you stayed where former world leaders stayed back in the day and just enjoy the fun element of being there!,"

"Perfect choice for Bukhara! About a 15 minute walk into the old town, taxis readily available if you prefer. Staff were extremely helpful, even helped order me a taxi from the train station upon my arrival! Rooms were clean and well tended to. Overall a great stay I’d recommend to anyone looking for an elevated experience."
