Pleasantly surprised to find an elevator in the 3 storey building, very thoughtful. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Owners were very nice. "We arrived early and the friendly front of house staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were checked in and supplied with a cot very quickly. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a free (nonalcoholic) mini bar which was restocked each day, that was a nice touch. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment. Handy onsite parking, although expensive for guests. Bed was large and comfortable - overall very happy. "
"As above Relax. Driving rental car lots of parking and 3 countries to explore from this location. If your older be advised there are stairs and beds are low ( we had no issues age 60's in fair health) Much to see: Leige, museums, amasing walking trails everywhere. American War cemetary and remberence museum, Val Dieu Abby church, castle brewery. Small towns in all directions to tour and enjoy the cafe and beer. Tower and restaurants at marker of border of 3 countries nearby. Because of dates booked we took in ceremony and 4 parades in Holland. Thermal pools Aachen and Leige. Open markets. The landlady is amazing and can suggest places to visit, where to get groceries etc. She is very helpful showing how the apartment's facilities work. Love the frogs at night, love horses and scenery. For those who have travel experience and willingness to get away from the hotel to experience the real Belgium this is recommended. This was a great trip."
