"I made a reservation for this property in November 2024 for a rental date of 09/26/25. After I contacted the host for check in instructions on the morning of our arrival date, I was informed that the property was unavailable and my reservation was cancelled. I never received any correspondence from the host previously to my check in date. I believe that this is an unprofessional manner of conducting a rental business and it reflects poorly on VRBO. "It was wonderful to stay in their home. They manage their guesthouse professionally, with a friendly breakfast service with local jams and honey. They seemed genuinely concerned about our well-being during our stay. The room was clean and with old-style amenities that seem to have disappeared from French hotels, like the washcloths for the showers and even just tissue paper. "
