"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"This would have been 5 stars all round except for the many dogs barking, thankfully not through the night and unfortunately we were bitten many times by mosquitoes. The views of Mount Etna were breath taking plus we had the added bonus of watching it erupt for hours late into the night from the comfort of the terrace. The villa is brilliant with private secure parking. Mario and Angela are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend their villa for a holiday."

"A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."

"We were really hoping to have a view of Mt. Etna and did believe we would have it, but we couldn’t see the volcano from the any if the windows or balcony, which is a shame as it was erupting when we were there. It was excruciatingly hot when we arrived in the apartment. It took a very long time to get the apartment cool enough for us. The beds were not super great. "Host was helpful. The property was spacious and in excellent condition. It is nearby to Recannati Bus terminal so easy to get to Taormina. The host provided juice, Milk, water , cereals, toast at the property. There are all the amenities as mentioned in the listing. Very kind and helpful. I would book it again. Thank you."

"The property was lovely and felt very secure with the gated parking, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming even when we arrived at about midnight. The living space is very compact but the bedrooms are generous and two bathrooms really made a difference. The outside space and swimming pool are really lovely. The location is great for exploring the area between Catania and Taormina and further afield, and it was a very easy drive to Refugio Sapienza for hikes or alternatives up Etna. We...
