"It was better than camping, is all I can say. And it’s cheap, so. But there were only two wall outlets- one by the fridge across the room and one behind the bed that I could only find by moving the mattress. And the way the bed frame and the headboard are placed, only my tiny lady hands could reach it. A man would have to crawl under the bed. Not ideal when you have a CPAP to plug in. Also, I don’t even think it’s to code; there’s supposed to be an outlet on each wall. "

"If you are looking for a nice, no frills room for the night that is pet friendly this is the deal for you. The room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. Coffee was available at the front desk. It was a couple of blocks from the interstate so it was fairly quiet. There is everything from fast food to good dining within a few blocks. You can park right outside your door which is a big plus for us. If you want a five star hotel this isn't for you. If, like us, you are looking for a clean, quiet, inexpensive spot to sleep overnight for you and your pets before hitting the road again it can't be beat. Excellent staff."

"This is a beautiful hotel if you like a modern aesthetic. Rooms are very comfy with great blackout curtains and wonderful beds and pillows. Fresh ground coffee is available 24x7. The free morning breakfast includes hot eggs, sausage or bacon, and the typical cold fare. Staff was friendly."

"Beware going to this place. I spent two days there, 2 days in the morning the water from sink and shower had no water running . I alerted front desk Patricia , she said there is n water because Van Horn city is low pressure or no water for all living in Van Horn. The refrigerator was gross and nasty black thick scum all over inside the refrigerator. I asked Front Desk Patricia to clean it , she refused . I repeatedly cal the front desk at night and daytime, no one never picks up the front desk phone. Patricia in front desks only started here shift in the afternoon at 3 pm. Before that time no one is at the front desk . Patricia never had a name tag on at front desk . Patricia at front desk was very rude and arguementive with me when I voiced my complaints. Whichever Housekeeper that worked in the morning of May 1st did not clean the refrigerator with that nasty black scum inside the refrigerator. I stayed in room 208. The owner should address this to his staff . Very bad experience. Zero Stars!!!"
