This is a very traditional, old-fashioned type of Hotel. It is very private and the staff are very polite. The location is really good. We had a nice size room with a pullout couch. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Vancouver

Pool and hot tub were lovely even in October. Staff were very helpful. Had a nice breakfast in room. Great sleep thanks to the nice black out curtains. Perfect location to be able to walk to a concert at Roger’s arena.

We have been staying at L’Hermitage every October now for several years to attend the Vancouver international film festival. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. Our room is always impeccable and the environment luxurious. We also appreciate the onsite dining at L’Orangerie although there is a great breakfast spot right next door- Cafe Medina. We also love the central location and easy access to almost everything one might want to visit while in Vancouver. We’re already looking forward to our visit for next year’s festival.

Great location, walkable to everything. Only complaint, found the rooms a little run down and dated. Seemed pricey for what it was. But the bed and bedding were super comfy which is very important.

This is a beautiful hotel. Perfectly located. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. One of the best hotels we have stayed at for a long time. The room was well equipped with everything that you would need to make for a great visit. High-quality linen. Electric Fire place which was perfect for a chilly Vancouver evening. We had a very nice stay. And will definitely be coming back next time we are visiting Vancouver. I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. We were sad to leave.

The staff was exceptional. I had difficulty with a lyft driver upon checkout and Nadya went above and beyond to make sure that I got into a respectful car for my ride to the airport.
