After being disappointed with another hotel we moved to the Opus. The staff were fantastic, especially Kaveh. When we shared that we had a poor experience elsewhere he offered to show us a room so we could see the layout, cleanliness, and overall condition of the room. While we worked on trying to cancel our existing reservation, he offered us each a glass of local sparkling rose (surprisingly good btw) to help us relax and feel more welcome in Vancouver. Kaveh continued to check in w us and welcome us back every time we entered the lobby. The other staff were also very friendly and engaging. I’m recommending The Opus to any friend who travel to Vancouver and will stay there my next trip to Vancouver.

We highly recommend OPUS Hotel Vancouver to anyone traveling to Vancouver! The stay was amazing- Patricia and Jaylin greeted us upon our arrival with welcome cocktails and the atmosphere felt so lively! The metro is a cross the street, there are many great eateries and cafes within feet of the hotel, a great place to tour Vancouver and take day trips. Thank you OPUS for taking such good care of us during our 4 days with you!

Overall a very nice hotel in a convenient location. Didn't feel "luxury" to me per see, but it was nice. Very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. My only big complaint is a weird one - they had sliding bathroom doors in our room with no locks and at many points they would spontaneously ope while someone was using the toilet, making for an unnecessarily awkward experience. They should change those doors.
