"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"Maison au calme en banlieu de Rochefort et de Surgères, a moins d'1h de la Rochelle, des l'îles de Ré et d'Oléron et de beaucoup d'autres curiosités. Extrêmement bien équipée, jardin et petite piscine. Parfaite pour une semaine en famille. Merci à hôtes Barbara et Hugues."

"Confort sommaire. Aménagement minimum. Propreté qui laisse à désirer (forte odeur de renfermé,allergiques à la poussière fuyez). Pas de lave linge dans le logement mais des machines payantes à 6€. La piscine est glacée, prise d'assaut par les guêpes. Pas de quoi pendre ses vêtements. Bref déçue"

"Property exactly as described. Spacious house, lovely pool and gorgeous gardens/patio area with barbecue. Albert was attentive and available, with the pool being cleaned regularly and even supplying fans at short notice when the temperature spiked. Would definitely consider coming back to the same house if we visited the area again."
