"The hotel is in a great location and the staff went above and beyond! There were 3 staff members who were really attentive and unfortunately I can’t remember their names except for Aziz and that’s probably because we spent the most time with him. The tall young lady who checked us in and the gentleman who appeared to be the head server at the restaurant were the other two."

"Amazing hotel! Lots of charm and perfect location to explore the city and the lake. Could not be closer to the ferry docks, you might have to park a few minutes away from the hotel if you have a car"

"Hotel is in the actual middle of Como with lake views. Rooms are very nice. Flooring is new and bathrooms are modern marble and good size. Complimentary breakfast is elegant with tablecloths and servers with lake views. All the restaurants, cafes and shops are nearby walking distance. It’s so convenient staying at the Palace."

"This hotel is the perfect getaway in Varenna. Every detail from the attention of the staff to the sweeping views of Lake Como were wonderful. The staff helped with everything from restaurant reservations to attraction visits to car service on departure. I would highly recommend Casa du Lac for any Lake Como vacation."

"The hotel has incredible views and overall everything is very well maintained and beautiful. However, I was disappointed that there was no air conditioning, even considering it’s a mountain location. In addition, the fact that smoking was allowed left a tobacco smell in the room, which was quite uncomfortable. In short, the setting is wonderful, but these details definitely affected the comfort of the stay. I hope this feedback is taken as constructive, because the place has a lot of potential."
