"This is a scam and I’m totally disappointed in Hotels.com. When we got to the hotel, the manager said they don’t work directly with Hotels.com and that they did not receive any confirmation. They refused to let us spend the night. I called Hotels.com to inform them and they have refused to process my refund. In addition, the pictures in Hotels.com is nothing at all like the actual place. "This property was unavailable to stay even though I have reserved it. The most awkward and embarrassing moment to have family waiting at airport for this hotel. When I called the number provided on Expedia site it was switched off and after a lot of tries the person picked up & informed this is closed. Expedia even didn't inform me either which was not expected."

"My Dad and I booked a once in a life time trip to India, once we arrived at the apartment at 1am there was no one there to check us in. Before travelling I was advised to contact the care taker who would let us in, i called and called (as well as reception) and no one answered Leading to us having to check in to an alternative hotel for the night.
