"The house and extensive grounds are very well maintained by the owners. It is very well equipped indeed.Communication with Christiane, the host, was excellent and it was nice to meet her and her husband briefly during our stay.We found it an ideal location to explore the region of VÀrmland including hiking, visiting art galleries and houses/gardens. We also enjoyed a few local specialty restaurants nearby and found a smokehouse near Karlstad.The canoe enabled us to explore the lake shore especially when conditions are fairly calm heading to GrÀsmark and sandy beaches.Our stay met our expectations and exceeded them in many instances."
