"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Overall we quite enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a very central location in the old town. Its close to the castle, shops and restaurants and also 10 - 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are parking spaces outside the apartment but you are very lucky to fine one! However, free spaces are close by so not a problem. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glasses etc. My main comment is that the bathroom needs abit of a refurbishment and attention.The area around the bath...

"The property is great. A few unexpected things. The Lock box is a 10 minute walk from the train station up hills with luggage then you have to go back down and go 15 minutes the other direction to the property. The property door is rust not the red one. The building stairs are not for someone who can’t carry luggage up old stairs. "We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux...
