"My suggestion is to sort the reviews by lowest first, then you may see a picture of the type of service provided. The owner will respond with excuses so I will not bother writing what actually happened. Suffice to say I would not recommend this place. Lots nicer bed and breakfasts around (check out Flambruzzo which has some great cheap options with better amenities.(also don't expect to receive the amenities listed on booking or Expedia..) "We loved our stay. Far away from tourism and busy areas. We had the junior suite. The room was clean and my favorite part was the breakfast basket with croissants and juice/cafe. There’s no elevator and you go a flight of short stairs so make sure you can carry your luggage. We came in on a private water taxi from the airport but left walking to the train station and it was about 10-12 minutes walking there with two carry on bags."
"We loved staying here! Great location and close to St Marks and Doge’s Palace. Lots of restaurant and shopping options steps away from the door. The room felt very luxurious with purple velvet walls and the bathroom was beautifully done. It was fun to look out the windows and see all of the gondolas passing by. Staff and owners were super helpful as well! You won’t be disappointed, definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back!"
