HOUSEBOAT FOR RENT- Venice Marina- The “Get Reel”

Everything you need for a comfortable stay right in the middle of the best fishing and hunting in the world. Located on 'B' dock at the Venice Marina. The houseboat has space to tie up your boat(s) to the front and side of the houseboat. The houseboat can accommodate 4-6 comfortably. The sleeping situation is comprised of 1 full bunk bed with a single on top and bottom, 1 top bunk bed with a single at top and a futon underneath and 1 "master bedroom" with a full sized bed, space to hang clothes and a chest of drawers. There is 1 bathroom with a stand-up shower.

WiFi was recently added for your unlimited use! The main living area has a Smart TV equipped with Direct TV. The living area and kitchen provide an open concept for guest to visit while watching TV, dining and preparing meals in the fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, toaster and full size fridge and freezer! Recently upgraded to granite countertops throughout!

Property has a gas grill with the necessary utensils located on the deck for use by our guests. There is also a fish cleaning station with a hose right next to it for your convenience. Please do not throw fish or duck carcasses in the water, instead take them outside of the marina to dispose of them.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellation must be in writing. Cancellations are only allowed prior to 30 days of the rental period. Cancellations within 30 days of rental period are only allowed in the event of named tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico that requires evacuation or tropical watches/warnings are issued for the Venice area.. Should the reservation be cancelled within the 30 days of the rental period then the entire rental fee is forfeited and the reservation/damage deposit will be returned. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, illness, accident, change in plans, personal emergencies, charter boat cancellation, or otherwise if not done in writing 30 days prior to arrival date.

Unit isn’t anything fancy, but adequate for a quick stay. Spent 3 nights for a fishing trip. Plenty of linens, clean bedding, plenty of dishes. Could use some deep cleaning and updating, but so does the entire resort. Porch wasn't the best to enjoy the outdoors, screen missing in the door but looks like they are in the middle of repairs and tv in bedroom didn't work. We would return. .

Went for a three day duck hunt with two friends. This houseboat was the perfect size and the location was excellent. Definitely has all that u need and will rebook for my next trip.

We had a great time on the houseboat. We found everything we needed on the boat to prepare our fresh caught red fish, sheepshead and pompano including a grill, foil, oil and spices. Water pressure was good and mattress was comfortable. It was a relaxing and fun stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Get Reel. Perfect location with just a short walk to the Marina. Place was just as described. Clean and all the amenities worked perfectly. Captain Chad from LA Inshore Adventures was even nice enough to pick us up and drop us off right at the camp. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

What a fun experience to stay on a houseboat! Fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed. We enjoyed having the grill on the back dock porch. And tossed a few lines. Loved the convenience of being able to walk to meet our boat charters, and having the restaurant, shop and bait right at the marina. Can’t wait to go back!
