Access is not disabled friendly at entrance and to the rooms. I am on a Europe tour with family, and with luggage climbing stairs was a big hassle. Location is conveniently connected to public transportation system and very close to multiple dining options.

Located in a less touristed area was nice and not too noisy. Bed was comfortable. Shower was warm. Sadly they list an elevator but they don’t have one. We hauled our luggage up 62 stairs to get to the “2nd” floor. No one there to help. They also list a rooftop terrace but that doesn’t exist either. And they say they help with a concierge that can get tickets and book experiences, but when we asked about getting a gondola ride the desk person just said to walk up the street and we would find one. The AC did not cool, only fan, so we had to have the window open and the noise woke us up often. And there were blood stains on the wallpaper. We did appreciate the good breakfast and the help ordering a very early morning taxi to the airport. But the cost was 160 Euros so I’m sure they got a good cut of that. Was not what I expected of a three star hotel, but I’m unfamiliar with Italian star rating system.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room looked nothing like the photos online. There was no working A/C, it smelled strongly of mold, and worst of all—there were ants everywhere. They were crawling all over the room, got into our suitcases, and ended up all over our clothes. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unsanitary. The only positives were the friendly staff at check-in and the ferry terminal conveniently located across the street. Unless you truly don’t care about where you sleep or how clean it is, I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

Front desk clerk was rude and not welcoming upon arrival. The room key card did not work. The rooms are hot and stuffy and if you open the windows to let in cooler air the bugs will attack. Not happy with our stay.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke and property couldn’t do anything to help us. Besides that the hotel was gorgeous, room was large and beds were comfy, everything else was great. It was just a horrible cigarette smell which ruined the experience.

I was worried about the stay after reading the reviews. Everything went smoothly. The girl at front desk was friendly, room was clean and spacious for my family of five. Very good location- 10 minutes walk from the train station, the public steam boat right next to the hotel(even the stop has name The Archi).

The air conditioning in the room was very bad in the hot July weather and when we told the evening receptionist about it, he said he would pass on the message to his daytime colleague. The lady at reception the next day was very rude and told us we should have said something earlier and when we told her about already telling her colleague, there was no apology and not much was done! The property is dated, shower bathtub very cramped and old and breakfast is average. Very little value for money compared to several other places we have booked through Expedia all over the world! There’s also no lift and overall poor customer service!

Great classic Venetian home converted to hotel. Rooms are decorated with classic furniture and Murano chandeliers, clean sheets and comfortable bed. Bathroom needed some work, toilets flush was stuck and kept getting stuck unless you moved the level by hand, bided do not drain it was shut closed level to open it didn’t work, showers bit small and dated.

The decore in the rooms is a very special kind of old-fashioned, but absolutely clean and comfortable. My only criticism is that the breakfast buffet is more German than Italian. The coffee was undrinkable - unthinkable for Italy! This was an extremely convenient location for arriving at the train station and leaving on the airport boat. Perfect for us.

It was good good overall and location too but the hotel needs some update it is quite dated. Breakfast was a nice touch being included on the price but very average and with not a single fruit or vegetable is just mainly sugar. Not very eco friendly still using individual packs for toiletries. Not being able to pay by card in reception and having to leave the key everytime you leave, a bit weird. The older gentleman in reception was very friendly and professional.

Great location and beautiful view out front

The hotel had a great location because you could catch the water taxi right out front. It was quiet and away from crowds. The breakfast was good but the people at the desk were not really friendly. The room was supposed to be on the second floor, but it was really on the third so beware if you have luggage. Their luggage room to store your luggage is not locked and secure.

For the price point this hotel was fair. Nothing about it was nice besides the location which was in a nice quiet area of town. The building is run down the rooms are run down and it looked to me like a pooh stain on the wall in our room. Right across the street was a boat bus stop so getting around was easy. There was lots to do within a 5 min walk, like pretty much all of venice.
