"What can I say we absolutely loved the chalet it was perfect for us! We were cycling and the chalet location was fantastic for doing the mountains we wanted to tick off. The chalet was beautiful, clean and the hosts very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. What a beautiful part of the world, I would 100% recommend! :)"

"Super cozy and comfortable chalet. Great place to sit at fireplace after long day of skiing. Ski-in/out - 30seconds to chair lift hard to find a chalet any closer. Very welcoming and helpfull hosts. We had a great stay. Thanks"

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of comfortable seating. Lovely views from the balconies. Could have done with some more pillows for the beds. Short walk to village, quite steep, but fine if you take your time coming up. Village had a lovely atmosphere and there were different activities and nice places to eat. We had a lovely time, lots if walking and didn't need to use the car very much for the almost 2 weeks we were there."

"The chalet is situated on a very quiet road with spectacular views of the lake and mountains from the balcony. The chalet is spacious and comfortable on 2 floors. We were 6 adults staying with plenty of room however although there are 2 bathrooms ( one upstairs and one downstairs) there is only one toilet. The drive way is long and narrow and parking 3 cars on it was a bit difficult ."

"Family holiday with teenagers. Lovely chalet and in a peaceful and relaxed area without the busyness / fuss of larger resorts. Contamines is a fantastic alpine village, great local shops amenities provide all you need and was a perfect location for hiking, cycling etc. from the door."

"We stayed in the property for a week and enjoyed the excellent location (if you like quiet villages close to the slopes). There was excellent access to the 3 valleys area within a 10 minute drive. The house itself was well equipped (although we never found the "drying room" or boot warmers and all the beds were actual beds and not sofa beds in the living room as is sometimes the case. "An absolutely charming gem of a property rental. The hosts were kind, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. It was perfect for our family. The unit was very clean, with lovely cozy décor and amenities that were both comfortable and practical. It had everything one could need. "Des propriétaires adorables, très à l'écoute. Un chalet parfaitement situé pour un départ skis aux pieds (la neige était au rendez-vous). Une cheminée très appréciée. Deux (petits) points pouvant être améliorer : - Un mobilier (particulièrement la cuisine) un peu âgé et qui commence à souffrir. - Les bruits de l'appartement du dessus se propagent facilement et il serait souhaitable d'équiper les chaises de tampons de feutre afin d’atténuer en partie ces bruits."
