"The room was clean. The tv worked. The furniture and towels were very worn. No shampoo, lotion, facial tissue etc. Super basic."

Hotels.com and Evergreen Inn hustled me out of $59 with no stay. Cant get incontact with a real person from Hotels.com im very upset and disappointed. No indication of if or when ill see my money. "

"This hotel was very clean and had recently been updated. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to stores and restaurants. The hotel felt secure, they locked the door from 9pm to 9am and you could not enter without your room key. The breakfast was a nice addition. This hotel met our needs for our one night stay. "

"We had a great three day stay here, while our son had surgery. We didn’t spend much time inside, but it was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very tasteful. Parking was easy on the street as we had a truck. The bed was comfortable! Mount Taber park was relatively close and was a good walk. Had pizza at East Gilsen pizza lounge and take out from the food trucks at The Yard. Both yummy! I would highly recommend John’s place. "
